1. The service
Hybridpod is a personal AI assistant that runs on your own device. The app is free for individual use. Institutional (branded, managed) deployments are licensed per seat under a separate agreement.
2. Your content is yours
You retain all rights to the content you create or process with Hybridpod. Because processing happens on your device, we do not receive, license, or claim any rights over it.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Hybridpod to break the law, to harm others, or to attempt to circumvent the security of the app, our distribution infrastructure, or other people's systems.
4. AI outputs
Hybridpod's answers are generated by AI models and can be wrong. The app is designed to cite its sources and say so when it doesn't know — but you should not rely on it as a substitute for professional legal, medical, or financial advice.
5. Open-source models
The AI models Hybridpod downloads are open-weight models published by third parties under Apache 2.0 / MIT licences. Those licences travel with the models.
6. Warranty & liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hybridpod is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. The current version always lives at hybridpod.ai/terms.
